Zheng Xueliang, a non-destructive tester in the quality department, has been engaged in non-destructive technology since joining the company. He has presided over the inspection of more than 100 large-scale gas-steam combined cycle waste heat boilers, more than 20 garbage incinerators and more than 300 supercritical pulverized coal boiler components to ensure timely delivery and safe operation of products. In terms of technology, digest various non-destructive technology standards, compile process procedures and design operating instructions according to domestic standards; revise the company's procedure documents according to the new version of the ASME specification; according to the requirements of overseas users, compile special inspection procedures for certain special components, take the lead in designing and making a complete set of specimens, and successfully demonstrate them to ASME authorized inspectors and obtain recognition; according to the requirements of the parent company Mitsubishi, compile inspection procedures for the requirements of METI (Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and obtain approval from the Japanese side. In terms of personnel training, technical and skill training is provided to existing and new non-destructive personnel of the company, and inspection personnel are guided to apply for certification. According to the requirements of ASME standards, various methods of test questions are compiled, and examinations are organized to provide qualification certification for the company's inspection personnel.

Zhang Yanchun, the project design manager of the technical department, has been in the company for 20 years and is the company's technical backbone. Not only is he the backbone of overseas projects, but he also led the preparation of the design manual and trained a large number of reserve technical talents for the company.
In 2020, the company undertook the first overseas EPC-Iran BUTIA project, which has supplementary combustion, large capacity, high parameters, complex system and high design difficulty. As the person in charge of the project, this comrade led the design team to overcome many difficulties. Through the research on the performance, system configuration and overall layout of the waste heat boiler, an independent design with F-level large capacity and high parameters with supplementary combustion of waste heat boiler was formed, which is of great significance to promoting infrastructure construction in the Middle East and strengthening the docking of production capacity cooperation and development strategies.
As the person in charge of overseas projects, proficient English communication is a necessary skill. She made full use of her spare time to learn English and obtained a basic certificate in business English. From a "mute" with only a college English level of CET-4, she transformed into a "skilled worker" who can introduce foreign technology, train and communicate in English.

Under the leadership of the company's trade union, the Quality Department of Dongfang Lingri takes safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of employees as its responsibility, democratic management of teams as its purpose, the creation of a learning-oriented trade union organization as a breakthrough, and solving problems and doing practical things for employees as its foothold and vigorously carries out "building a home" activities.
The Quality Department actively builds a learning organization, creates a good learning atmosphere, encourages employees to actively participate in English learning, various professional (nondestructive detection, inspection, system management) learning, etc., to encourage employees to improve their own quality and professional skills. At the same time, it urges and guides employees to conduct professional title evaluations and professional skills evaluations. In 2023, one person in the Quality Department passed the senior engineer evaluation, five people passed the non-destructive testing senior worker evaluation, and eight people passed the non-destructive testing technician evaluation. Encourage employees to participate in technological innovation activities and QC group activities.
The Quality Department organizes employees to actively participate in various cultural and sports activities organized by the Economic Development Zone and the company, such as Greenway Health Walk, sports competitions, badminton competitions, table tennis competitions, photography competitions, singing competitions, and other fun competitions and has won numerous awards.
